This is what the kids were doing to stay out of the sun while Mom and Dad planted the trees.I was feeling pretty good about our yard and three trees (we haven't gotten flower beds down yet). That was, until I drove by a house the next street over that was just recently built. They have sod down, plus they were putting in a tree and all their flower bed yesterday. That house looks so put together. I'm jealous. Our house is still "in-progress."

I think you're making great progress! I still am stumped on some aspects of my yard---it is definitely a work in progress and probably will be for a long time yet!
