Jack [holding up his index finger]: This is my pointer finger, because it points. And this [holding up his middle finger] is my whipping finger. I whip people with it.
Parker: Yeah, you whip people off with it.
Mom [with sudden understanding]: Oh, you mean you flip people off with it.
Parker: No, you whip people off with it.
(Obviously, next came the explanation of why "giving someone the bird" isn't nice.)
