Claire has been pretty busy at 5 months old.
A couple of days before turning five months, (on President's Day, to be precise) Mom decided it was time to try some rice cereal. She did pretty good eating for her first time. A week later, she's still doing good, (but she's nowhere near where
Bria was soon after starting solids). I was hoping that starting with the rice cereal would help her sleep better through the night since ---
... getting her first and second tooth at the same time makes sleeping a little rough. But now that those teeth are out, she's still in the habit of waking up during the night again.
Claire is a very vocal baby. She shrieks, she growls, she screams, she just loves to make noise.
She's doing really well using her hands now, instead of just staring at them (which she still does sometimes). She likes to hold her little toys and LOVES to grab her toes. Her toes are her favorite things nowadays.

Claire is sitting up (assisted, but is thisclose to being on her own -- at least for less than a minute at a time) and loves to be entertained by her big sis. Bria does all sorts of silly things to make Claire laugh. Hopefully Bria will still love playing with Claire when she learns to crawl and is getting into Bria's toys.

Well of course she has to be vocal, she is probably worried she will be forgotten with those bigger siblings out there. She doens't want mom to forget about her.
She is a cutie, so is Bria.
Kim, I do think Claire is loud because of her siblgings -- she's used to them being so loud, that when there's a lull in the cacophony in our house, she makes up for it with her noise.
In YW on Sunday, she was growling to her heart's content because those girls were too quiet.
What a doll! I love the one of her smiling at herself in the mirror. Too cute!
