Spring Break/Easter 2012

We went to Grandpa and Grandma L's on Saturday for an egg hunt and Easter dinner.

Parker and Bria looking for more eggs.

Jack and cousin coming back with full baskets.

Age 3 is a fun age for holidays like Easter.  It's something that a child of three vaguely remembers celebrated before, but still sees with new eyes and it's like they are experiencing it for the first time.  Such was our Easter with Bria this year.  You couldn't help but be excited just by watching her excitement as she found piles of candy hidden and dropped here and there by the Easter Bunny.

Pink bunny candy from The Bunny.

Claire got a cute purple and white cow.

After some time searching, Parker finally found his basket in the oven.

After looking two, no three times in the same place, Jack was last to find his basket on one of the Lazy Susans.

My cute girls in their new Easter dresses.

That binky sure keeps her happy sometimes.

Bria had enough poses by this time.

Those poor boys of mine, with nothing new to where to church.  Sometimes Mom forgets that they should have something new to wear, too.  Seems like I only manage to get the boys some Easter duds once ever 2-3 years.  Not that they even care.

After a day of binging on sweets, Monday arrived as the last day of spring break.  Having spent more than half a week of driving, seeing lots of animals, the boys getting kicked out of not one -- but two houses in the neighborhood, and lots of sugar, I was at the brink of insanity.  My mind was mush.

And I've decided that I'm not looking forward to the end of the school year.
