Usually we don't get our Christmas stockings out until Christmas Eve.
This year, we put them on display all month. It was a good change of tradition.

After opening our stockings, Jack reads our last Christmas scripture from our special box that Brian made for us, full of scriptures prophesying of Jesus Christ. It's a special Christmas tradition that lasts almost the whole month of December.

Our yearly family ornaments are one of my favorite family traditions, knowing that when the kids are all grown and out of the house, Brian and I can look at all the ornaments and be reminded of our memories through the years.
The kids each got to open one present from under the tree before heading to church. The boys got ski helmets!

After a pretty dry start to winter season, it was nice to wake up to a good amount of snow Christmas morning.

We were planning on heading to Grandpa and Grandma's Christmas afternoon, but with the snow storm, we decided to wait until the next day.
We gave Grandpa a tower or nuts!
